About The Event
An American expert’s perspective on nuclear deterrence.
Welcome to a joint event with Rotaract Stockholm and the Stockholm Association of International Affairs to explore strategic deterrence and nuclear weapons issues with a former expert practitioner. Through this event we offer a unique opportunity to learn about nuclear deterrence and the role it continues to play in U.S. security strategy. Join us and take the chance to ask questions few others can answer.
Dr. Hunter Hustus brings to the table three decades of experience in the United States Air Force. He began his career in the B-52 nuclear bomber. After 20 years in uniform, he continued as a civilian advisor on foreign policy and most recently as advisor on strategic deterrence and nuclear weapons issues for U.S. Air Force senior leadership at the Pentagon.
